Recruitment Talk and Event

International corporations, local and China companies come to HKU for campus recruitment every year. Recruitment season starts in early September until the end of the academic year in April. Students are highly recommended to register and attend recruitment talks to learn more about the business, the hiring requirements and most importantly, talk to the employers directly at the events.

Why Recruitment Talks?

  • To know what employers expect of you as a prospective employee
  • To meet company representatives, learn more about the organizations and their culture, the positions available and their hiring criteria. Such information can help immensely in your job search and application process
  • To get the first impression of the company and its representatives, and vice versa!

What to prepare for Recruitment Talks?

  • Research on the employers before the talks so that you can ask more in-depth and specific questions during the presentations and/or during the networking session
  • Dress smart to impress the potential employers!
