Alex Law 羅啟銳 (Bachelor of Arts) and Mabel Cheung 張婉婷 (Bachelor of Arts) came back to their alma mater and shared with the HKU Family members their experiences filming the award-winning movie Echoes of the Rainbow《歲月神偷》. The movie won four awards at the 29th Hong Kong Film Awards and the Crystal Bear Award at The 60th Berlin International Film Festival.

Alex encouraged students to trust their creative minds even though it may bring a more difficult life ”投身創作未必可享安逸生活，但放膽投入創作，可能會賺得更多金錢”.

Audience were thrilled when traditional snacks, such as marinated olives (飛機欖) and red bean pudding (砵仔糕), were handed out during the Dialogue evoking memories of the 1970s, the time depicted in the movie.

At the end of the talk, moderators Dr C H Ng吳俊雄 (BSocSc 1980; MPhil 1983), Department of Sociology and Dr Gina Marchetti 馬蘭清 , Department of Comparative Literature, joined Wong Chi-Chung黃志淙 (MPhil 1997) and three HKU students: Alfred Hui許廷鏗 (Faculty of Dentistry, Year 3), Jacky Chan陳駿杰 and Alan Ng吳霆鋒 (both Faculty of Business & Economics, Year 1, to give away souvenir bears to the audience.
